Forney Parks Board has an informative meeting

During its regular Apr. 19, 2017 meeting, the Forney City Parks Board met and (this is the preliminary report, subject to change):

City Council approves Racetrac, subdivs, appoints folks to new board

Forney City Council Apr. 18 approved the Racetrac project, several other new businesses, Fox Hollow changes, and appoints people to new Community Improvement Committee.

FEDC moves forward w/ Crumbzz building sale

Forney EDC approves $87k incentive to Racetrak, revelopment grant for 501 E. Main, soon to be Phillips Electric, and moves forward with sale of 212 S. Bois D'arc, the Crumbzz building.

Forney HOZ ARB approves porch addition

After a brief discussion, the board approved a porch design for 109 E. Church.

P&Z approves subdiv expansions, Christian Bro's, Bush's Chicken

Forney P&Z Apr. 6, 2017 approves some changes to Fox Hollow, a new day care, Christian Brothers Auto, Bush's Chicken, Lakepointe Church and a few other things, tables serious reduction in size of Gateway Parks Amenity Center.

Council approves indoor gun range, alcohol sales at Eno's

Forney City Council Mar. 07 approves CUP for indoor gun range, distance waiver for alcohol sales at the coming Eno's, took no action on the Whaley (Wynne-Jackson) tract.

P&Z approves indoor gun range CUP

The Planning & Zoning Commission Mar. 02 meeting approved a C.U.P to allow indoor gun range in the Forney Fence building, and approved changes to the Pristine Car Wash elevations.
